Operation of the system is based on:

Input information ( motion, temperature, humidity, air and humidity sensors)

Environmental information (air pressure, wind direction and speed, precipitation, perceived temperature, sunshine, relative humidity, particulate matter pollution, etc.)

Energy meters and smart sockets

Alarm buttons, fall detection, intercom and video intercom

Output information (opening doors and gates)

Closing the water valve in case of flooding

Closing facade blinds in case of strong wind

Air conditioning control in heating and cooling mode

Recuperation Control

Control of zone sound system, sauna, jacuzzi, garden irrigation, etc.

The action Loxone takes depends on the MODE the building is in, e.g.
-in NIGHT mode, motion sensors do not switch on the main light but the led backlighting at 20% brightness
-in daytime HOLIDAY mode the room temperature is maintained between 5 and 30 degrees
-in NORMAL mode the room temperature is maintained in the range of 20-22 degrees and at night 18 degrees (free configuration) the humidity is maintained at 50%.
- the number and operation of the modes is limited only by the owner's imagination

The entire system has an energy back-up for a period limited by the size of the batteries used for back-up, e.g. we determine that the Internet, LED lighting, access control, alarm system, etc. are still available in the building when the power fails.

Loxone system saves money by choosing the cheapest way to heat a room.

Example: The room is south facing and you need to raise the temperature by 3 degrees.

Loxone will first raise the blinds (if there is a cloudless sky) to assess the speed of heating the room, if the sun shines and the photovoltaic system produces electricity Loxone will switch on electric heating mats or a heat pump, the sun sets, the production of panels decreases Loxone switches off the mats and heat pump and switches on the heating from the gas central heating system to achieve the desired temperature as efficiently as possible.
